Founded in 2002, Aracosme Cosmetic, Lda is a national enterprise which has the objective of selecting and throwing, in the portuguese market, products in the área of Cosmetic, destined to cosmetic professionals and to the public in general.

Being from the beginning the exclusive representant of Environ´s products in Portugal, our strategy will always be oriented in the sense of develop a proximity with the client, by permanent investment in specialized human resources, in order to assure high levels of efficacy and a better service quality.

Research is since ever our bigger passion. Together with Environ® we always invest in the search of new products that can always better fulfil the function they were developed for.

History

Dr. Desmond Fernandes developed  Environ® creams because there were no substitutes for these anywhere in the world .I did not know, in the height, and only later I discovered that there where no similar creams in America, neither in Europe. Environ® arose through a natural evolution: from an intensive reading till the study of the physiology of the skin passing by current ideas of skin pathologies.  It is exclusively based in Science.

 Naturally we will learn much more about how to protect the skin and improve its health and beauty.  I expect that I and Val keep on being a part of this project for many years.

 

 I hope to be able to influence a bigger circle of persons that will benefit of a science in constant progression and that will gradually be incorporated in the Environ® skin care system.  I also expect to be able to help in the growth of Environ® young users, for them to became healthy, strong and full of life adults .

 

 The long term effects of exposition to the sun are sinister – the skin cancer can

appear as a simple corrosive ulcer or under other malignant forms.  The damages caused by the sun are called of solar losses or picture-ageing, but they are avoidable.  Having in count the current climatic conditions and the increase of skin cancer cases, Dr. Desmond Fernandes formulated the Environ® lines for skin care: Original and Alpha. These products were not created with the intention of deceive persons by making them believe that they will look better. They were presented because there are no equivalents available in the market.  Environ® became pioneering in the true skin care.

Strategy

Maintaining the innovative, dynamic, and enterprising spirit, ARACOSME – Cosmetic reinforced his department of formation by having already persons, with large experience, after the formation and period of training with the products ENVIRON®, and we are responsible for the formation and presentation of the products ENVIRON®.  The year of 2007 constituted an important landmark in the activity of the ARACOSME - Cosmetic when, beyond the representation, commercialization and conception of the international prestige cosmetic products, it started to do agreements with diverse Doctors, Hospitals and Clinical, throwing the Cosmetic and the Medical ROLL-CIT, for the treatment of streaks, scars, wrinkles and flaccidity, in result of our inquiry, research, close to the medical class.  The Cosmetic and the Medical ROLL-Cit, proudly, were quickly implanted in the Portuguese market, occupying, at the moment, a position of leadership and innovation in the market, with the recognition and prescription of several medical specialties

The Future

Divulgation of the Sonoforese DF Environ® machine that uses the galvanic current and ultrasounds. Also the divulgation of  ENVIRON®  products  near the esthetic cabinets, SPAS and beauticians:

 

This machine impressively increases the penetration of Environ® serums and treatment gels that contain high doses of C and A vitamins and also factors of growth.  The sonoforese DF machine is the only one of its type which uses low energy ultrasounds and electric waves with special features that are more efficient than the ultrasounds current used in other machines.

 

The Environ® facial treatments using this machine quickly make the skin more luminous and rejuvenated, and it is visible not only by women, themselves but also by the others. Specific problems like hyper- pigmentation, scars after-acne, wrinkles (ex:  chicken’s feet) and the loss of elasticity are visibly improved with continuous treatment with the DF machine.

 

The treatments that were elaborated in the Environ® Skin Care Ltd Institute are with no doubt, the more efficient skin care treatments available in the World. Iontoforese was combined with  Sonoforese to permit the maximum penetration of essential vitamins and  factors of growth essentials to the restoration of the firmness, smoothness and beauty of the skin. 

 

Divulgation of the RAD SPF 16, near the dermatologists, pediatricians and schools, because the world where we live now is different from the pleasant world where we lived before.The industrial waste polluted the atmosphere and the impurities can directly affect our skin. Some specific pollutants deprived us of the protective qualities of the stratosphere.  The decrease of ozone’s layer is a reality; subjecting us to intense ultraviolet radiations and to the corrosive effects of the free radicals. 

 

. A very narrow membrane separates us from the environment.  This delicate but incredibly efficient organ, that we call of epidermis is ours only protection against this extremely hostile environment.  Since the fatal effects of the sun appear late, as life goes by, is important that children know the repercussions of the sun, for them to avoid the skin aging and cancer.

 The frightening increase of  skin cancer made the scientists to foresee that one of each 75 born in the year of 2000 would develop a melanoma during its life.  This protective solar is a revolutionary one, because it provides the protection against the UVA and UVB radiations.  It contains solar screens and reflectors as well as a system of protection against free radicals that consists of antioxidants vitamins.  It is approved by the south african association against the cancer.
